Ideas for Kids this Summer in Myrtle Beach, Pawleys Island, and DeBordieu

The Georgetown and Pawleys Island area has many choices for active kids this summer. Take a look at the article below from The Georgetown Times for some options and ideas (arts, sports, Bible Study, General).

Ideas to Keep Kids Active During the Summer

Additionally, here at DeBordieu we will have golf and tennis camps. Many of our lakes have good fishing for bass and bream.

Or take fishing a step further by going out to North Inlet on your own or hire  one of the many guides. That will pretty much guarantee a bent rod and happy smiles. Don't forget about crabbing. Catching blue crabs on a hand line is a must do for any young boy or girl enjoying the lowcountry. I promise it will create good memories.
Kayaking or paddle boarding in the salt creeks or ocean is another fun option.
Just recently I took my 3 year old up to Murrells Inlet to play putt putt golf. It was a big hit and much fun for both of us. There are many options in Murrells Inlet, including the marsh walk.
If you are really adventurous you can find many family activities in Myrtle Beach 40 minutes north.
