DeBordieu/ Pawleys Island Vacation Rentals

Pawleys Island Vacation Rentals ResortQuest is proud to have Debordieu Vacation Rentals as a vacation rental Partner.

Just south of Pawleys Island, you’ll find DeBordieu, an exclusive community of luxury vacation rentals. Oceanfront, or nestled among our endless natural attractions, each privately owned vacation rental is uniquely appointed and equipped for comfort and leisure. Choose from casual Carolina beach houses, lovely golf course villas, or spacious homes along picturesque marshes and saltwater creeks.

Once through the private gates, you quickly realize you have entered a community that is completely dedicated to preserving the beautiful canvas nature has provided. Encompassing 2,700 acres of South Carolina's coastal Lowcountry, the six miles of secluded beaches and serene marshes will soothe your senses. This unique combination of lush natural surroundings and simple sophistication is what gives DeBordieu its own special personality. Casual and relaxed, yet refined. For generations, families have embraced this quietly tucked away community as a place to reconnect.

If relaxing alone can't diminish your stress, then hit the links at one of the top ranked golf courses in the state. The DeBordieu Club boasts an 18 hole Pete and P.B. Dye course that has received rave reviews.
If you love tennis, you'll be hard pressed to find a better place to enjoy a game than the Tennis Center's eight Har-Tru clay and two hard courts - many of which are lighted for night play.

The food and entertainment are as varied and appealing as everything else at DeBordieu. Experience Lowcountry cuisine at its best in the oceanfront Beach Club, enjoy live musical entertainment at the Blue Heron Beach Grill, or relax at our oceanside pool and gazebo bar.

Since DeBordieu Club is a private country club, our guests have the unique opportunity of temporarily assuming the Club privileges held by the owner of the accommodations they have reserved.

Local legend has it that during the American Revolution, when the Marquis de Lafayette landed his ship on the shores of what is now DeBordieu, he pronounced that is was so beautiful, it must be the "borderland of God" (D'abord Dieu). No one knows for sure if there is truth to the legend, but all agree that DeBordieu lives up to its name.
