Summer's Ending

There is not a bad time to be here at DeBordieu. There is simply an argument for which time is the best. I might change my opinion with the changes of each season. I simply like each one, BUT...fall is pretty special.
There are less crowds, less traffic, less social engagements, college football starts , and it is great time for the outdoors! The fish are biting, and it will only be getting better.
Days will get shorter, but the evenings can be spectacular. Fishing in late September through October is good, but it might actually be the coolness in the air or the sunsets that make the fishing . Do not pass up a chance to be on the water or beach at this twilight hour.
Saltwater continues to be a passion of mine. Geoff Groat and I shared a recent morning's outing to catch several lovely fish. All were released to be enjoyed another day.
