PATRIOT GOLF WEEK @ DEBORDIEU - WHERE SACRIFICE IS HONORED AND DREAMS ARE REALIZED

Patriot Golf Day is the flagship fundraiser for the Folds of Honor Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides postsecondary educational scholarships for the children and spouses of military men and women disabled or killed while serving our great nation. On Labor Day weekend, golfers across the country are asked to add an extra dollar to their greens fees to fund Folds of Honor scholarships. The Patriot Golf Day campaign is jointly supported by The PGA of America and the United States Golf Association.

Here at DeBordieu, we want to do more! Each day during the Labor Day week, starting Wednesday, August 28, we will be conducting a fundraising event for this initiative.

Tuesday, August 27 - Sept 2 - Old Club Donation Days - Do you have old clubs collecting dust in your attic or garage? Bring them to the golf shop and we will send them to the PGA Trade in Network to be graded and valued. The value of your old clubs will then be donated to the Folds of Honor Foundation. Any remaining clubs will be donated to the DeBordieu Junior Golf Program and the First Tee of Myrtle Beach.

Wednesday, August 29-Patriot Lesson Day - On this day, Shawn, Matt, and Amie will each spend 3 hours giving 10 minute lesson in exchange for a minimum $10 contribution to the Folds of Honor Foundation. The lesson schedule will be located on ForeTees,
or you can register by calling the Golf Shop.

Thursday, August 29 - Patriot Playing Pledge - On this day, Shawn, Matt and Amie will play golf from 7:30 am till 7:30 pm and attempt to play as many holes as possible. They will be soliciting pledges as a group based on the total accumulative holes played between them. Members, Guests, ad Businesses are asked to pledge at one of the following increments:

For every $10 donation, your name will be entered in the Patriot Raffle. The more you donate the better your chances for winning! This is a very important charity that we need not neglect.
