GLM Fishing Report

Saturday June 9th. We hosted the Don Hammond Florence Blue Water Club Dolphin Tournament which was a great success. There were 32 Dolphin weighed for the competition and lots of others caught.

"How Sweet It Is" won the Largest fish (31.0lbs) and the Largest total weight of three fish (75.8lbs)

"Runawade" got youth angler for Jack Harper's 21.8lb Dolphin.

"Painkiller" got lady angler for Laura Stokes' 18.4lb Dolphin.

We had the Big Kahuna fishing the Bohicket Billfish Tournament and they ended up with a White Marlin Release and a Sailfish Release.

The weather was as good as it can get with reports of a flat ocean and lots of weed lines. We had Big Sky, Mystic, Skip Jack, Rawhide, Schools Out, Pain Killer, Nauti Girl, Critter Gitter, Blue Water Machine, Out of Controls, Final Offer, Landing Lady, Tyde What Maye, Suzanna Jules, Bottom Line, Destiny, On Point, Swordfish, Trigger Happy, and Hola Mola all out trolling.

The Dolphin were everywhere, and we were not able to get a final count but lets just say there were lots of Dolphin caught, We saw half a dozen Wahoo, and the Tuna we scarce. Nauti Girl gave reports of a nice Blue Marlin greyhounding beside the boat. Everyone who went got home safe and seemed to have a good time.
