Southern Style: A Lowcounty Oyster Roast | North Inlet
We had some rainy weather over the weekend which made for a good excuse to eat some oysters. A friend had a small gathering to enjoy some of the local seafood.
I regularly venture into DeBordieu's neighboring North Inlet to harvest my own oysters. This weekends oysters were bought, so they came from local marshes outside of North Inlet.
Winter oyster roasts are a Lowcountry tradition. The link below from Garden and Gun highlights this salty feast.
