DeBordieu Events
The social gatherings at DeBordieu are one of the many things that make it so special. Some of our favorite events are during the holiday season. An upcoming event calendar follows.
THANKSGIVING BUFFET
Thursday, November 25th 11AM-2PM
The holiday menu will include a Salad Buffet, Low Country Oyster Chowder, Smoked Salmon Display, Turkey Breast, Bourbon Glazed Ham, Fried Chicken Drumsticks, Sweet Corn Succotash, Green Bean Casserole, Collard Greens, Macaroni and Cheese, a Mashed Potato Bar, Baked Sweet Potatoes with Marshmallows, Cranberry Herb Stuffing, Biscuits, Cornbread, Rolls and Assorted Desserts.
BREAKFAST WITH SANTA
Friday November 26th
8:30-11AM at the Clubhouse
Share breakfast with Santa at the Club! Santa will be on hand for pictures and listening to every tiny tot's Christmas wish list. A delicious menu will include Fresh Fruit Salad, Assorted Pastries, Hash Browns, Scrambled Eggs, Creamy White Grits, Vanilla French Toast, Biscuits and Gravy, Bacon, Sausage, Omelet Station and Assorted Desserts.
5th Annual Chili Cook-Off
Saturday, November 27th at the Pavilion
Football, Football and More Football!!!
Join us for a Chili Cook-off and football party where cooks of all skill levels are encouraged to participate! The choice is yours, either prepare your chili at home or for the more serious chefs bring your equipment and fixings to prepare on site. Awards will be presented for one "at home chef" and for the overall champion.
Clemson vs Carolina (time TBA) and other great football games will be shown on big screen TVs. The buffet will open at halftime of the Clemson vs Carolina game for $15.00 per person and a signature bar will be available at the beginning of the game. Dueling Smokers.Lamont "Secret Smoke" Teeples takes on the Executive Chef Chad Marshall
We must have a participation level of a minimum of 25 people, this includes the chefs preparing as well as those attending for the games and great food. Please call if you plan to attend either as a chef or simply to enjoy and have a good time.
CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING
Saturday, December 4th 5-7:30 pm at the Pavilion
Get into the Christmas Spirit with your closest friends and family and enjoy some delicious food and beverages!
Your menu will include: Carved Beef Tenderloin, Carved Smoked Ham, Chili Station, Shrimp and Grits, Mini Burger Station, Fried Oysters and Grouper Fingers, Chicken Fingers, Grilled Vegetables, Smores Station and all of your favorite holiday desserts.
