DeBordieu-White Heron Photographs Eating an Eel

I woke up and went to the beach for sunrise last week. It was beautiful.

Finding this white heron catching and eating breakfast made it an even better morning experience. 

I stopped to simply get a picture of the heron when it shot its head into the water capturing this eel. A valiant effort was made by the eel to escape, but the heron had its way enjoying a hardy morning breakfast. Wildlife experiences at DeBordieu are frequent occurrences.
