DeBordieu: Beach Sweep 2013

Reminder! ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~25th ANNUAL DeBORDIEU BEACH SWEEP~ SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 21st Meet at The Blue Heron Grill at 3:30 pm     Join us this year as we once again participate in the DeBordieu Beach Sweep!  The cleanup, organized by the S.C. Sea Grant Consortium and S.C. Department of Natural Resources, has taken place annually since 1988.   Once we are finished with the sweep the Ocean Conservancy tallies all of the debris data.  This data helps determine the sources of litter so we can help stop it.  DeBordieu has played an integral role in this cleanup effort for 25 years and we are excited to continue the tradition this year.     Bring your gloves and wear your walking shoes!
