June 28, 2013 - Record Day! 7 nests & 8 false crawls


Whew!!...what a day.......read on.......

North: Mary got on the beach very early and had 3 false crawls (North Beach Villas, #6mm, 80 yds. south #13mm). She had a crawl 30 yds. north of #11mm that looked like a nest. Nonie and Bill joined her to train Nonie who is working toward certification. Nonie located the eggs and DEB14 was left natural. Good job Nonie!

Middle: Nonie spotted a crawl 22 yds. north of Walkway #7. Mary ended up going to work on this crawl because Nonie and Bill were called to Hobcaw after their North nest. Mary located the chamber, the nest was in a good spot and this became DEB13. Nice work Mary!

Hobcaw: Betsy, subbing for Bill, had a total of 10 crawls this morning! She put out an APB to Martha, Susan, Bill and Nonie for reinforcements (photo). Here is how it worked out:
