Channel Bass aka Big Redfish, Georgetown, SC-DeBordieu

We left the landing around 4. Fishing started in the inlet with a quick look for redfish. Then we made a move to try to catch some trout. We caught several keeper sized trout before deciding to go to the bay for our main objective, channel bass.
We caught three on a triple header first drop. We did not catch any  more after that. Fishing was in 20 feet of water. We caught the fish while the tide was still slightly rising.
These are the big breeder fish. They were handled quickly and gently before being released.
