Lowcountry Cooking...another great reason to be at the beach!

Seafood Harvest!
Simple but Good
 I went flounder gigging the other night. It is not something that I regularly do. Two of my great friends and I ventured out into the creek around 10pm. It is a wonderful experience to be on the water at night. The sites and SOUNDS are amazing. Recent rains had stained the water. We managed to gig 6 nice flounder. It made for a fine Sunday night meal.

While on the topic of food I wanted to share another great lowcountry meal that my wife, Wynne, and I shared with another couple. Local seafood is hard to beat. Some lump crab meet made into crab cakes, fresh shrimp, tomatoes, lima beans, and white wine...even some champagne!
