Friday...bring on the weekend!

It is often tough working here at DeBordieu,...when here it is a lovely Friday. I have friends in town. The fish are biting, the golf course is in good shape, the beach is perfect, my boat is missing me, and I can go on!

Many folks know about the great fishing that North Inlet and our surrounding waters offer. Yet most do not know about our offshore fishing. Dolphin, wahoo, and tuna can be caught all year round with the spring and early summer being peak months. Our billfishing for blue marlin, white marlin, sailfish, and even swordfish is good too. Spring and summer are good for the marlin. Summer and fall can be outstanding for sailfish. Just two days ago two boats off of our coast caught 9 and 12 sailfish apiece! One boat was a DeBordieu property owner. That is some great fishing. Georgetown has a couple of good charter boats should anyone want to give it a go.
